Michelle and I have had the privilege of travelling around Alberta in the last while, preaching in different churches, and telling people about campus ministry here. It's SO cool to meet the amazing people of God all over this province, and to get a little bit more of a 'bird's eye view' of the Body of Christ at work here.

We're also thoroughly enjoying hanging out with the wonderful team of students and other 'campus missionaries' who are coming together as we plan to start the student church on campus this Fall.

Being with so many great people in a common cause really makes you feel like you're part of something special. In the last while I have been overwhelmed at how individuals and churches are stepping-up and giving us their prayer support, their financial support, and even their time and service. It really feels like God is building this movement, and bringing a special TEAM of investors, intercessors, and workers to help build His Kingdom at the U of A.

Sometimes the (relatively) small group of students that are gathering together, and PCM's little office here, feel so small in the enormity of this campus. The Christian message sometimes feels like a 'forgotten cause' in the midst of the predominantly secular culture at the U. But the team of people that God is bringing together in this province are evidence of the fact that this is a vital, worthwhile cause. In some ways, I feel in my heart like we are 'holding Normandy' right now, and that there is a great momentum-shift ahead.
