LITTLE GLOMBICK on the way!!!

Yup! It's just like the title says! On Thanksgiving Monday, October 8th, (fitting hey?!) Michelle and I found out that we're going to become parents!! I will never forget the feeling I had when Michelle gave me the news... - I almost got weak in the knees and light-headed. I was SO excited and overwhelmed at the same time. I am sure I will encounter many more of the same sentiments and experiences along the coming journey of parenthood. Whew!
So the due date for 'Little Glombick' to make her/his appearance in the world is June 11, 2008. That means that this next year will be a year of 'new births' in numerous regards. Not only will it be the start of the next chapter in Michelle and I's family, but in September of 2008 it will also be the start of the new student group church that we plan to start on campus.
Accordingly, not only will Michelle and I be preparing for parenthood in the next 8 months, but we also hope to pull-together a team of student and non-student (but passionate about campus) leaders. One other matter of note in connection with Michelle and I's new arrival on the way is a change in plans for the Project Amigo missions trip to Mexico with the University of Calgary and U of A. We are going to postpone the trip until next year (so that Matty can be with his pregnant wife over the holidays!). So if you were planning / thinking of coming make sure you save some space next year!
